USAID to support Maldives’ development agenda, Including PayPal services

During the 79th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu held a meeting with Ms. Samantha Power, the Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). 

In their discussion, Administrator Power praised the Maldives for its ambitious development plans and expressed USAID's readiness to collaborate on various initiatives.

She highlighted potential support for enabling PayPal services in the Maldives and facilitating the nation's membership in the Open Government Partnership (OGP), which align with President Dr. Muizzu's forward-thinking development agenda.

The meeting concluded with both parties reaffirming their commitment to collaborate on mutual interests, ensuring that the partnership continues to benefit both nations.
