BML opens applications for new CEO
Bank of Maldives (BML) has opened applications for the position of CEO.
The CEO position at BML became vacant after the previous CEO, Karl Stumke, resigned on the 9th of this month.
Currently, the bank's Deputy CEO, Aishath Nooradeen, is temporarily in charge of BML's operations.
In the announcement seeking a new CEO for BML, eligible candidates must have 15 years of experience in the banking sector, with over 5 years of experience in senior management.
BML also stated that applicants must have higher education in banking or finance.
BML said that the CEO's salary will be determined based on the individual's education and experience, and the CEO will be appointed for a term of 3 years.
However, BML informed that there is also an opportunity to extend the term based on performance during this period.
The bank stated that interested parties should submit their applications before the 7th of next month.
