Regional Airports Company Limited (RACL), the largest domestic airport operator in the Maldives, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Maldives Ports Limited (MPL) to enhance resource procurement and ensure uninterrupted airport operations during emergencies.

The MoU was signed on Tuesday on 9th Augustat the Maldives Ports Ltd office.

Ahmed Mubeen, Managing Director of RACL, signed the agreement on behalf of the company, while MPL was represented by its CEO, Mohamed Wajeeh Ibrahim.

Under the agreement, MPL will assist RACL in procuring necessary resources via sea and road transport to ensure airport operations continue smoothly during emergency situations.

The collaboration is designed to ensure that RACL’s services remain uninterrupted, even under challenging circumstances, thereby reinforcing the country’s airport infrastructure and emergency preparedness.
