UAE’s budget airline Wizz Air will start flights to the Maldives tomorrow.

A special ceremony will be held at Velana International Airport (VIA) before the launch of Wiz Air flights to the Maldives. The airline’s first flight is scheduled to arrive in the Maldives tomorrow evening.

A water salute and cultural activities will also be held at the welcoming ceremony.

Wiz Air will operate three flights a week. The flights will be on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. The airline starts flying to the Maldives with ticket prices starting at around $200.
