Maldives engages Bahrain in strategic talks to elevate Tourism Industry

In a significant move to enhance bilateral relations and boost tourism, Foreign Minister Moosa Zameer met with Bahrain's Tourism Minister Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi today. 

The discussions centered on potential investments in the Maldives' thriving tourism industry. 

The meeting, which took place today during Minister Zameer's official visit to Bahrain at the invitation of the Bahraini government, was marked by mutual praise and a strong commitment to cooperation. 

Minister Fatima, who also chairs the Bahrain Tourism Exhibition Authority, commended the Maldives for its exemplary achievements in tourism, expressing keen interest in exploring collaborative opportunities.

During his visit, Foreign Minister Zameer also held talks with Bahrain's Crown Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Finance and National Economy Minister Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, and Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani. 

The discussions focused on strengthening ties across various sectors, with a particular emphasis on tourism investment in the Maldives.
