MMPRC partners with MATI to promote Maldives as a top travel destination

The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC), also known as Visit Maldives, has announced a new partnership with the Maldives Association of Tourism Industry (MATI) aimed at boosting the country's tourism profile.

The collaboration was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed today.

This strategic alliance is designed to enhance destination marketing efforts and increase the Maldives’ appeal as a premier travel destination.

Ibrahim Shiuree, CEO & Managing Director of MMPRC, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership.

Shiuree stated

MATI's Secretary General, Ahmed Nazeer, also voiced strong support for the partnership. 

Our long-standing relationship with MMPRC has always been productive. This MOU will further enhance our collaboration and support MMPRC’s efforts in promoting the Maldives. We believe this will help us attract more visitors and boost our destination's brand

Nazeer said.

Under the MOU, MATI will provide advisory support to MMPRC in developing marketing strategies, campaigns, and tactics.

The agreement also includes a commitment to share valuable tourism data and insights.

This partnership marks a significant step in the Maldives' efforts to strengthen its position as a leading global travel destination.
