Air Arabia to commence direct flights from UAE to Maldives

Air Arabia has announced it will commence daily non-stop flights from Sharjah to Male’ starting October 27.

The low-cost carrier will operate these flights between Velana International Airport (VIA) in Male’ and Sharjah International Airport.

According to Air Arabia, the introduction of this route aims to offer travelers enhanced convenience and accessibility to explore the Maldives.

Tickets for these new flights are now available for purchase through Air Arabia’s website.

Established in 2003, Air Arabia is the largest low-cost airline in the Middle East, operating out of Sharjah, UAE.

The airline serves over 170 destinations and maintains a fleet of 58 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft.

This announcement follows Air Arabia’s recent introduction of a new route connecting Sharjah with Vienna, Austria, scheduled to begin on December 20, 2024, aligning with the winter holiday season.
