Maldivian resumes flights between Hanimaadhoo and Trivandrum

After a temporary hiatus due to ongoing airport development projects, the national airline of the Maldives, Maldivian, has announced the resumption of flights between HDh. Hanimaadhoo and Trivandrum, India.

This exciting development comes as a boon for travelers seeking direct connections from the northern region of the Maldives to international destinations.

Previously, flights between Hanimaadhoo and Kochi, as well as Trivandrum, were put on hold to facilitate airport development projects.

However, with the completion of necessary upgrades, Maldivian has reinstated its services, much to the delight of passengers and aviation enthusiasts alike.

To commemorate the resumption of flights, a special ceremony was held today at the regional airport in Hanimaadhoo, jointly organized by Regional Airports and Maldivian.

Effective immediately, flights between Hanimaadhoo and Trivandrum will operate every Monday and Friday, utilizing Maldivian's Dash 8 aircraft.

This schedule ensures convenient travel options for passengers, allowing them to plan their journeys with ease and flexibility.

Taking to social media platform X, Maldivian Aero shared the news of the flight resumption, expressing their commitment to providing seamless connectivity for travelers.

The airline further highlighted the importance of direct flights to Trivandrum for citizens who frequently travel for medical purposes.
