President grants incentive to essential workers during last 10 Days of Ramadan
President Muizzu has announced a special incentive for essential workers who are required to work from government offices during the last 10 days of Ramadan.
This decision aims to recognize and appreciate the dedication of individuals providing necessary services to citizens during this important period.
A circular issued by the Ministry of Finance on Thursday outlined the details of the incentive, stating that it will be provided to those selected by government companies to fulfill essential duties during this time.
The incentive will be included in the April salary of eligible workers.
Furthermore, it has been decided that starting from next Ramadan, the last 10 days will be declared as public holidays.
However, it is essential to ensure that vital services continue uninterrupted during this period.
To address this concern, the President's office has actively worked with ministries to devise strategies that guarantee the availability of necessary services throughout the last 10 days of Ramadan.
This initiative reflects the government's commitment to supporting and acknowledging the efforts of essential workers, ensuring that essential services are maintained efficiently and effectively, even during religious observances.
