Housing Development Corporation (HDC) is seeking a contractor to build electric vehicle charging stations.

HDC on Thursday stated that four charging stations would be constructed in Hulhumale' as part of a test project. HDC stated that interested parties can submit an application with HDC and are also required to supply the materials for the charging stations.

According to HDC, the charging stations must be compatible with the electric vehicles already on the market, and the white user application must be compatible with the Maldivian payment gateway.

Parties that are interested to setup a charging station must submit their Expresses of Interest (EoI) must be received by 15:30 on November 1, 2022, from interested parties.

According to HDC, the supplier must pay for the remaining half of the project while HDC will cover the first half.
