Maldivian fishing boat, Invaded by Indian troops

Indian troops have invaded Maldivian fishing boat, within the Maldivian territorial waters.

The boat Invaded was "Asuruma 3", belonging to South Ari Atoll Mahibadhoo, Maldives.

The incident came to light when the MNDF released a statement acknowledging that an unidentified group, purportedly from another country, had boarded a Maldivian fishing vessel.

MNDF did not specify the nationality of the troops involved.

According to a post by the MNDF on [X], they are actively looking into the matter.

The statement did not provide further details. 

However, in an exclusive report to "Voice," a crew member from the fishing boat claimed that the invading troops were Indian, consisting of seven officials.

The crew member recounted that the Indian officials initially stated they were searching for something lost in the vicinity.

In addition to the invasion, the crew member accused the Indian troops of falsely claiming the presence of a Thuraya satellite phone, an act which is is not prohibited in the Maldives. 

"The interrogation and search were conducted under the pretext of finding a Thuraya satellite phone, which we don't have. There's only a device connected to Ooredoo on the boat," stated a crew member on the boat.
