The Saudi Arabian Embassy becomes a partner for the Journalism Awards 2021. 

The Journalism Award is an award given to journalists that shows excellent work ethics and makes valuable contributions to the field of journalism.

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) was signed between the Saudi Arabian Embassy and the Maldives Media Council (MMC) on Sunday. The MOU was signed by H.E Ambassador Matrek Aldosari and Mr Mohamed Shafau Hassan on behalf of their respective institutes.

After signing the MOU, Media Council President Mohamed Shafau Hassan stated that the Ambassador has affirmed his support for journalists in the Maldives. 

This is the very first time a foreign embassy has extended such support for the Award. 

Journalism Awards 2021 will be presented in the second week of November.
