Four new members appointed to Visit Maldives board

The newly appointed four board members to Visit Maldives

Four additional members have been appointed to the Board of Directors of Visit Maldives Corporation Limited (VMC), the state-owned body responsible for promoting tourism in the Maldives.

The Privatization and Corporatization Board (PCB) announced today that the appointments were made officially, expanding the board’s composition.

The newly appointed members: 

Hudha Fahumy – Vilares, K. Thulusdhoo

Aishath Malha – Rasveli, R. Rasgetheem

Ali Sinan – Ma. Rihiraalhu

Aishath Ali – M. Vaareyvilla

They join an existing board that includes Chairperson Abdulla Ghiyas Riyaz, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Ibrahim Shiuree, as well as non-executive members Maha Naseer, Aminath Wulaau Mohamed Nazim, Abdulsameeu Imad, Aishath Hameed, and Sabiha Ahmed.

Visit Maldives Corporation Limited serves as a key government initiative aimed at promoting the Maldives as a leading global tourist destination.

The corporation plays a central role in marketing the country’s tourism sector and advancing sustainable, strategic efforts to maintain its international standing.
