Maldives officially welcomes the Prime Minister of Cambodia
The Maldives government on Monday has officially welcomed the visiting Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen.
Prime Minister Hun Sen arrived in the Maldives on Sunday morning on an official visit at the invitation of Maldivian President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih. The official welcoming ceremony was hosted on Monday at Republic Square in the capital Male' city.

The senior members of the Maldives' government and the visiting delegation were then introduced before Hun Sen went on to review a Guard of Honor. A ceremonial parade led by Hun Sen then led him to the president's office, where he signed the visitor's register.
President Solih will meet with Hun Sen at the president's office, and there will be formal discussions to deepen current ties and create partnerships between the two nations. Additionally, to discuss the results of the negotiations, the two leaders will lead a ceremony for exchanging agreements as well as a joint news conference.
This is the first visit by Hu Sen to the Maldives since it establishing diplomatic ties 1995.
