President Solih confident in winning MDP's Presidential Primary
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has stated that he is confident that he will win the Presidential primary by a massive margin.
Former President and MDP President Mohamed are also scheduled to contest the MDP's Presidential Primary on January 28.
Addressing at a press conference on Wednesday, he stated that before allying to the presidential election, the first thing is to confirm the party's presidential ticket. He also affirms that he will win the presidential primary by a massive margin.
After that, we will start the process of allying with other parties. I believe that given the way our policies are being implemented, I will get the support of those who are part of the coalition
Said President Solih
He stated that he was yet to discuss the issue with the parties in the alliance. However, there may have been multiple discussions on informality and most of them had the same opinion on most of the issues.
President Solih and Nasheed have had disagreements, which has resulted in two groups within the party while the party's presidential primaries have gained momentum.
