President Dr. Muizzu expresses gratitude to Doctors on National Doctors' Day

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has expressed appreciation to doctors across the Maldives for their invaluable support and cooperation in enhancing the country’s healthcare system.

In a message shared on the social media platform X to mark National Doctors' Day, President Muizzu extended his heartfelt wishes to all professionals working in the health sector.

One of the top priorities of the government is the health of the people. I would like to thank the doctors for their advice and cooperation in this effort to strengthen the health service. Happy Doctors' Day to everyone working in the health service sector

He wrote

He emphasized that safeguarding public health remains one of the government’s foremost priorities.

According to the administration, they are actively working with medical professionals to address the challenges they face, and there are ongoing efforts to introduce an online platform that will allow doctors to access real-time updates on the availability of medicines in STO pharmacies.
