Male’ City Council announces 50 fully funded scholarships for overseas training
Male’ City Council has announced the opening of 50 scholarship opportunities for city residents under a collaborative agreement with the Strong Cities South Asia Regional Hub.
These scholarships will provide employment-oriented training in six key technical fields: Health, Construction, Engineering, Education, IT, and Digital Technologies.
In addition, training opportunities are available in Business, Hospitality and Customer Care, and Agriculture, the Council confirmed.
The training programs will take place in Pakistan, with durations ranging from three to six months.
All selected participants will be provided with travel expenses, accommodation, meals, and course fees, fully covered.
Applications opened on 15 April 2025, and the deadline for submissions is 20 April 2025.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on their O’Level examination results and final selections will be made through an interview process according to the City Council.
