Israel attack Gaza despite agreement to stop genocide!
Israeli forces carried out airstrikes on Gaza, killing at least 40 people, despite a ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel set to take effect next Tuesday, according to reports from Al Jazeera.
In northern Gaza City, an attack near the Engineers Union building claimed the lives of 18 civilians.
Another 12 bodies were recovered following an airstrike in the Sheikh Radwan area, local sources confirmed.
In central Gaza, a drone strike targeted a crowd in the Karaj area of the Bureij refugee camp, resulting in the deaths of five individuals.
These strikes came shortly after residents celebrated news of the impending ceasefire, which aimed to bring an end to the violence that began on October 7 last year.
The ceasefire agreement, brokered after weeks of negotiations, was expected to provide a temporary reprieve for Gaza's civilians, many of whom remain displaced and vulnerable.
However, the recent attacks have left residents in fear of continued violence ahead of the formal implementation of the truce.
Gazans, still grappling with the destruction caused by earlier military operations, are now wary of further escalations as the region awaits the promised cessation of hostilities.
