MMPRC elevates Maldives Tourism presence at MATTA 2024

The Maldives Marketing and Public Relations Corporation (MMPRC),  has announced its participation in the esteemed Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA) travel extravaganza from March 22nd to 24th, 2024, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

According to a press release issued by MMPRC, the event will serve as a strategic platform to strengthen the Maldives' presence in the Malaysian and Southeast Asian market.

Accompanied by representatives from 13 companies within the Maldives tourism industry, MMPRC aims to showcase the Maldives as the premier holiday destination in the region.

This participation aligns with MMPRC's overarching strategies to bolster the Maldives brand and elevate its tourism industry's impact.

MMPRC aims to spotlight the Maldives' cultural heritage at the MATTA event, with immersive displays showcasing craftsmanship, history, customs, and traditions.

Additionally, they plan to provide visitors with updates on new products and offers, fostering partnerships and gaining insights into the evolving travel landscape.

With Malaysia ranking 26th as a source market last year and 3,063 tourists from Southeast Asia visiting the Maldives by March 2024, MMPRC will deploy various marketing activities throughout 2024 to capitalize on this potential.

MMPRC's proactive approach underscores its commitment to increasing arrivals and maintaining destination momentum in the Malaysian and Southeast Asian market, solidifying the Maldives' position as a leading travel destination in the region.
