Maldives Post Limited has issued a public warning regarding fraudulent messages being circulated in its name, urging customers to remain vigilant and avoid falling victim to scams.

In an announcement shared on social media, Maldives Post stated that these deceptive messages falsely claim that a parcel could not be delivered due to an incorrect address.

Recipients are then prompted to click on a link and update their address within a limited time frame, often within six hours.

The company clarified that it does not send any such messages requesting customers to confirm or update their delivery addresses through external links.

Maldives Post strongly advises the public not to click on these suspicious links, as doing so could compromise personal and financial information.

The warning comes amid growing public concern over delays in receiving packages, particularly from the e-commerce platform Temu.

The legitimate delivery notifications for Temu and other platforms do not contain any clickable links and should be clearly distinguishable from scam attempts.
