Following the successful achievement of its 2 million visitor target in 2024, the Maldivian government has set an ambitious goal of 2.3 million tourist arrivals for 2025.
To achieve this, the Ministry of Tourism has outlined various promotional campaigns and strategic initiatives aimed at attracting more visitors.
Tourism remains the backbone of the Maldivian economy, and officials remain optimistic that 2025 will set new records in visitor numbers, further solidifying the Maldives’ position as a premier global travel destination.
