BML offers American Express cardmembers chance to win 20,000 reward points
Bank of Maldives (BML) is commemorating 20 years of its exclusive partnership with American Express, a collaboration that began with the introduction of the Maldives' first credit card in 2004.
The anniversary celebrations kicked off in July, and as part of the festivities, the bank has announced a special promotion for its American Express Credit Cardmembers running from 8th September 2024 to 8th October 2024.
Cardmembers can enter a lucky draw by spending a minimum of MVR 3,000 for local transactions from American Express credit cards with the chance to win 20,000 BML Rewards points.
These points can be redeemed for flight, car, or hotel bookings, as well as gift cards from major local and international retailers, including Amazon, Apple, and Spotify.

Nimal also highlighted the bank’s commitment to offering exceptional benefits to its Cardmembers, citing the recent launch of the Maldives’ first Sharia’h-compliant credit card as a prime example.
The new card has quickly gained popularity for its unique range of exclusive perks.
As the largest card issuer and acquirer in the Maldives, BML serves over 345,000 customers and partners with more than 7,900 merchants.
The bank remains the exclusive issuer and merchant acquirer for American Express in the country.
