Warehouse fire breaks out in Maradhoo, Addu City: No injuries reported
A fire broke out early this morning at a warehouse in the Maradhoo district of Addu City, according to authorities.
The blaze also affected a commercial carriage at a property known as Ethumaage.
The incident was reported to the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) at 5:46 a.m., prompting a rapid response from firefighters at the Hithadhoo Fire Station under the Southern Area Command.
The team successfully brought the fire under control by 6:45 a.m.
MNDF confirmed that no injuries were reported in the incident, though the extent of the damage to the warehouse is yet to be determined.
