Villa College Hosts Maldives' first Engineering Exhibition, Showcasing Innovation
Villa College organized the Maldives' first-ever engineering exhibition on Thursday, a milestone event that featured 40 innovative projects across various engineering disciplines.
Held at the Villa College hall from 1:30 to 3:00 PM, the exhibition was open to the public and showcased work from students in mechatronics, mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering programs.
The event was officially launched by Udhma Abdul Latheef, Head of the School of Engineering at Villa College, who emphasized the significance of the exhibition as a testament to the students' creativity, determination, and technical skills.

The exhibition was inaugurated by Muaz Mohamed Rasheed, Managing Director of FENAKA Corporation Limited.
In his address, Muaz highlighted the importance of engineering solutions tailored to the Maldives' unique landscape and expressed FENAKA's willingness to support local university students in their innovative pursuits.

The exhibition also featured other innovative projects, including solar energy solutions and voice-controlled computer systems.
The event concluded with a closing ceremony attended by the Minister of Cities, Local Government, and Public Works, Adam Shareef.
