Mundoo Adam appointed Chief of Staff at parliament speaker’s residence
Journalist Mundoo Adam Haleem has been appointed as the Chief of Staff at the official residence of the Parliament Speaker, Muraidhooge.
This appointment was confirmed by the Parliament Secretariat's Communications Director, Hassan Ziyau, who announced that Haleem assumed the position on July 28th, three days after Speaker Abdul Raheem Abdulla moved into the residence on July 25th.
Mundoo Haleem brings over 20 years of experience in journalism to his new role.
Throughout his career, he has been recognized with prestigious awards, including the National Award and the Golden Pen for his contributions to the field.
Haleem began his journalism career at ‘Aafathis’ and has held significant positions, such as Deputy Managing Editor of Sun Online.
He has also served in senior roles at Mihaaru, VTV, and Avas. Currently, he runs his own publication, ‘The Mirror.’
Details regarding his salary and allowances for the Chief of Staff position have not been disclosed.
