Azim vows to serve Malé City beyond political beliefs
At the swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected Malé City Council members, Mayor Adam Azim emphasized that the Malé City Council has been and will continue to work for the benefit of the city and its residents regardless of political ideology.
He highlighted his commitment to solving the city’s problems without being influenced by specific ideologies, noting that members and council employees who have worked with him over the past six months can attest to this.
Azim urged the new council members to collaborate with him in shaping city policies, identifying the needs and challenges of their constituents, and presenting these issues to the Council for joint resolution.
He also reminded the newly sworn-in members from Mahchangoalhi Central, Hulhumale’, and Henveiru West constituencies to actively work towards fulfilling the people’s expectations and aspirations.
