BML faces disruption in mobile app and internet banking services again
The Bank of Maldives (BML) has announced a temporary outage affecting its mobile app and internet banking services due to technical difficulties.
In a post on social media platform 'X' this morning, the bank extended its apologies to customers and assured them that efforts are underway to restore full functionality as quickly as possible.
The disruption also extends to several ATMs in Male', which are currently non-operational.
This follows a similar service interruption last Thursday, which lasted approximately three hours and was attributed to a human error in payment processing.
As of now, BML has not provided details on the cause of the current outage impacting their digital services.
