Maldives receives USD 98,000 X-Ray machine from Korea

The South Korean government has donated a $98,000 X-ray machine to the Maldives.

The Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) facilitated the donation, providing a Porous X-ray machine to bolster the healthcare services in the Maldives.

State Minister Khadija Abdul Samad Abdullah signed the agreement on behalf of the Maldivian Ministry of Health at a ceremony held at the ministry.

Her Excellency Miyon Lee, Ambassador of Korea to the Maldives, signed the agreement on behalf of the Korean government.

The ceremony was attended by officials from the Ministry of Health, the Secretary of Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Hussain Niyaaz.

This donation aims to strengthen the relationship between the governments of South Korea and the Maldives, highlighting their ongoing commitment to cooperation and support in the healthcare sector.
