Bank of Maldives (BoM) has supported the 'Pink Ribbon Run-Walk', an annual event organised by the Cancer Society of Maldives (CSM) to raise awareness about breast cancer.

The Pink Ribbon Run-Walk was held in 33 islands, including Hulhumale'.

In a bid to support CSM's efforts to raise awareness about cancer and psychosocial support services provided to cancer patients and their families. The bank has also donated MVR 150,000 to the NGO.

The bank has also supported the organisation's screening programme in Faafu Atoll.

As part of this partnership, CSM has conducted a free cancer screening programme for BML employees. Since 2016, the bank has been supporting CSM and the pink ribbon run-walk.
