Elections can't be held without Yameen's participation: Adhurey
PNC President / Former Fonadhoo MP Abdul Raheem Abdulla has said that the presidential election will not be held without the name of Former President / Opposition Leader Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom.
Speaking at a 'causeful march' demanding the release of Former President Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom from prison, Abdul Raheem said that President Yameen is the presidential candidate of PPM/PNC and the decision cannot be overturned for anyone else. Reiterating that he would not change the decision, he said the presidential election would not be held without Yameen's name.
Pointing out that hundreds of people took part in yesterday's march, Abdul Raheem said,
It is the voice and wind of the locals. The government can't listen to it,

He further told supporters not to get dishearted and that President Yameen will be free soon. He further explained that Yameen will meet the people and will contest the Presidential election.
Opposition yesterday held a massive rally in Male' city calling for the release of Former President Abdulla Yameen Abdula Gayoom.
