Mohamed Aan Hussain has set a new national record in the men's 50m long course freestyle event.

Aan set the new national record at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with an impressive time of 00:24.22.

He ranked 50th overall in the Men’s 50m freestyle for the Olympic Games 2024, coming in 3rd in the Heat he competed in.

Aan set the national record in the 50m freestyle event in May this year, renewing it in the Olympic Games from a record 00:24.28 he set at the 66th Malaysia Open Swimming Championships.
