said Mohamed Ismail
Mohamed Ismail said the opposition's efforts were sincere in preserving the lost values of the maldives.
Noting that the entire country was crying when the blood of 19 Maldivians was poured on the ground in Male' city on November 3, Mohamed Ismail said that for 18 hours, the people of the whole country were in darkness. He said the locals did not even know who had the system of governance in the country for so long.
According to Mohamed Ismail, it is important to let everyone know that the events of November 3rd began with the families of individuals who held prominent positions in the current government. He claimed that if they are neglected now, the Maldivian ideals will be forgotten, and the victims' sacrifice should be recreated that day.
Mohamed Ismail further said that the opposition's efforts are a national effort and therefore the coalition wants people living in Male', Hulhumale', Villimale' and nearby islands to participate in tomorrow's event.
Previously, The opposition PPM-PNC on November 2, 2019, also hosted a protest to celebrate Victory Day.
