Five injured in motorcycle crash in Hulhumalé

Five people are receiving medical treatment after two motorcycles collided on Nirolhu Magu in Hulhumalé Phase 2 early this morning.

According to the Maldives Police Service, the accident was reported at approximately 2:55 a.m. last night

All five individuals involved in the collision sustained injuries and were taken for medical treatment.

Police said three of the injured were initially treated at Hulhumalé Hospital before being transferred to Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) for further treatment.

Efforts are also underway to transfer the remaining two injured individuals to IGMH for additional medical care.

The circumstances surrounding the collision remain under investigation, police said.
